Rate Changes Coming January 1, 2019

Beginning with bills generated on or after January 1, 2019, all rate classes will see a $3.00 increase in the Basic Charge, while the residential kilowatt-hour (kWh) rate for the first 1,500 kWh will decrease for December usage and thereafter. For residential members, the result will be, on average, a $2 impact to your monthly bill. The rate for all kWh over 1,500 will not change.

For non-residential members (commercial, irrigation, yard lights, etc.), no change will occur to the kWh rate but the basic charge will increase by $3.00.

The Board of Directors concluded this adjustment is necessary due to forecasted lower electricity sales and needed system improvements.
