Lane Electric is governed by a board of directors who live throughout the service area and are elected by the membership to three-year terms. Directors approve strategic plans, general operating policies, rates, and the annual operating budget. Members can engage with cooperative leadership by attending monthly board meetings, yearly district meetings, and voting in elections.
The General Manager sees that board direction and guidelines are implemented through the day-to-day operations of the cooperative.
