Lane Electric is in the business of providing electricity to our members. Unlike most things you buy, you pay for your electricity after it is used. Therefore, we may require an advance payment or deposit from some of our members. After establishing a credit history with 24 consecutive months of prompt payment, the advance payment may be credited to your account. A letter of credit from your prior utility company is not an option at this time.
