Scholarships
Each year Lane Electric awards more than $20,000 in scholarships to help people pursue their academic or vocational goals. In addition to scholarships, the cooperative also appoints one high school junior as a delegate for the annual National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) Youth Tour.
To qualify, applicants must live within the cooperative’s service territory.

- $4,500 for a 2024 high school graduate to attend Lane Community College

- Dave D’Avanzo Memorial Community Scholarship

- $4,500 for a member to attend Lane Community College

- Vocational Outside Line Training Academy

- $5,500 for those interested in line construction and the electric utility industry. Licensed through the Oregon Department of Education, the Vocational Outside Line Training Academy (VOLTA) is a private, non-profit vocational training school preparing students for entry-level work as a line worker in the outside line industry.
