Lane Electric offers the scholarships below to graduating seniors and members of any age with a GED or who are planning to attend Lane Community College. More information and applications are available at our Scholarship Applications page or at our office at 787 Bailey Hill Road, Eugene.

Lane Community College Graduating Senior
Lane Electric is offering one $4,500 scholarship for a graduating senior whose parents or guardians are qualifying Lane Electric members. A graduating senior is defined as: A student who graduates from high school and intends to continue their studies at Lane Community College in the fall. To be eligible for consideration, the student’s parents or legal guardian must be a Lane Electric member with an active account, and in good standing with the cooperative.
Lane Community College Member At-Large
Lane Electric is offering one $4,500 scholarship for a member at-large interested in attending Lane Community College in the fall. A member at-large is defined as: A Lane Electric member with an active account, and in good standing with the cooperative, who plans to attend Lane Community College. The spirit and intent of this scholarship is to provide an opportunity for eligible Lane Electric members who have been in the workplace for a period of time; members whose jobs have ended, members interested in changing careers or for parents who have raised their children and are now ready to begin a college career, etc.
VOLTA — Vocation Outside Line Training Academy
Lane Electric is pleased to continue their support to qualifying applicants who are interested in the line construction trade by awarding one $5,500 scholarship to the Vocational Outside Line Training Academy program. The line construction trade is a rewarding career with exceptional pay and benefits and Lane Electric’s desire is to develop a qualified pool of candidates for future positions in the electric utility industry. To be eligible: Lane Electric’s VOLTA scholarship program is available for members and/or applicants whose parent or guardian are active members, in good standing, with Lane Electric. Applicants must be a at least 18 years old, at the time of enrollment in the VOLTA program, and be a high school graduate by summer of 2019 or hold a GED. College of Your Choice
Lane Electric also offers four $1,500 College of Your Choice scholarships for persons interested in attending any accredited two-year or four-year college in the fall. These four scholarships are available to qualifying members and/or their family members who are interested in continuing their education this fall. For these scholarships, a qualifying member or family member is defined as: A Lane Electric member, or dependent of a member, who has an active account, and is in good standing with Lane Electric, who plans to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college in the fall. The spirit and intent of this scholarship is to provide an opportunity for eligible Lane Electric members, or their dependents, who are interested in beginning a college career.
