Today’s Red Flag Warning has passed.
9 a.m. – Red Flag Warning Alert
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the Willamette Valley from 2-9 p.m. today, August 6.
For the safety of cooperative members, all Lane Electric equipment is being set to instant shut off. This means an outage today is possible and will happen without additional notice. Out of an abundance of caution, if the power does go out it will remain out until after 9 p.m. when crews will begin the process of patrolling lines and restoring power. This could result in a longer than usual outage.
