Outage Restoration

DURING A MAJOR OUTAGE, HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ENSURE WE CAN RESTORE YOUR POWER:

1. Gates on your property: Make sure we have access to your gates, or otherwise leave them open for our crews.

2. Service equipment damage: If there is damage to the weatherhead, mast, and/or meter base on your home, you need to call an electrician to repair it before we can reconnect your power. See the diagram below to help identify these pieces of equipment and assess your own. Once we receive notice of re-connection from the electrician, you will be put on a list for a Lane Electric serviceman to come out and hook your service back up. Lane Electric is not responsible for repairing service components other than the service wire from the pole to your house and the meter itself. If homes around you are restored but yours is still not and there is NO damage to this service equipment, please call 541-484-1151 and report your status. If the wire coming from the pole to your house (service wire) is down or damaged, please call and let us know so we can come repair it for you.
