Manager’s Message – May 2023
Dear Co-op Members:
I’ve just returned from Washington, D.C., after joining the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Legislative Conference advocating for Oregon cooperatives. It was great to be part of such important discussions about our energy future with Oregon’s elected legislators.
Upon returning, we kicked off our district meetings, which we’ve reformatted as a trial this year. We hope the change will inspire more conversation between Lane Electric and the communities the cooperative serves. We’ll be surveying all attendees after the annual meeting to understand what’s most important to you as we move forward.

Road, Cottage Grove. - May 11—McKenzie, 5:30 p.m., Upper McKenzie Community
Center, 54745 McKenzie River Drive, Blue River.
I hope you join us for our district meetings and take time to learn about the candidates running for board positions in the Central, Oakridge and McKenzie districts.
Lane Electric’s annual meeting will be a hybrid, like last year, held at the cooperative headquarters and shared via Zoom at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.
