Occupation: Retired from Qwest Communications and current owner of Ikoso Kits, manufacturer of educational toys.
Educational Background: I have completed all of the education required to be certified as a Credentialed Cooperative Director through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). In addition, my continuing education, attendance at conferences and participation on a variety of industry related committees has helped me prepare for the changes facing Lane Electric Cooperative.

Candidate Statement: I have been a member of the Lane Electric Cooperative Board of Directors for over 14 years and I currently serve as the Board President.
My job as a director at Lane Electric is to work with the other directors to approve policies, set rates, hire the general manager, approve budgets and help to provide a strategic vision of where our cooperative is headed in the future. These tasks take place in the boardroom and I believe it is important to have a board member in place who has a historical knowledge of Lane Electric.
Serving on the board of directors involves understanding issues and being able to discuss the pros and cons of each issue and work together to come up with the best possible outcome. Our job is to protect the institution of the cooperative and meet our memberās needs. I believe these things can only happen when the board is truly committed to their members and work together to make great decisions. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable and affordable electric service. I promise to continue doing just that.
Please vote for me, Chris Seubert, when you receive your ballot.
